Adobe CC 2018 App Uninstall

Hello there everyone, I wanted to ask if I can get the Silent Switch to uninstall Illustrator CC 2018 (Version 22.0.1). I am packaging up these new CC 2018 apps and I am a bit surprised that so far the uninstall process is very mix. Some are simple MSI Product Code and some require asking for help because the uninstall string does not include Silent Switch.

 

What is the silent switch for Illustrator CC 2018 (Version 22.0.1)?

 

Uninstall String:

I really don't think trying to move the patched application from temp to /System/Library/Fonts is gonna work.

Can you disable the Assets,Discovery and Stock Panels in the Creative Cloud Desktop app from the serviceconfig.xml file ?

Does anyone remember the good old days when we could just install photoshop with an executable and run our volume license script within MDT when deploying computers?

 

Man those were the good old days. Now we have to deal with an admin console, or start creative cloud with an account, install the applications, then run the volume licensing script.

 

These days suck and make me glad that we can just use Snapseed to make our photos pop out a little bit better now.

 

Anyone wish we could go back?

Adobe Products Blocking Apple Updates

Hi

I am having an issue where i have deployed CC via the CC packager and trying to run Mac OS Updates like version 10.13.2 to 10.13.3 doesnt apply , i have tried the combo update and does not work , i tested the same image with out adobe products installed and it allows the update to successfully go though , anyone had this issues is there an update to adobe products that i can apply to stop this happening CC version is CC 2018

Hi,

 

I am using Adobe cc 2015 (device license) and suddenly the license is terminated and I get a prompt to login.

 

If you log in with an administrator account, it will be marked as trial product.

 

What's the problem?

Can't get 2018 packages to install

Hi All,

 

I've now spent two days trying to make some 2018 packages that will successfully install. They all seem to fail with the following logs. As a note, these are made in the latest CCP. OS of the machine is 10.12.6. Machine has 2017 installed already, and then a new Creative Cloud installed on top of that so that it has 2.2.0.2 of RUM.

 

I have NO idea why this is failing. It's giving an error saying it can't register, but I don't know why. Anyone have any thoughts?

Windows Installer Stops with no error code

While installing a package, I click on the Windows Installer in the folder, the status bar moves to the right, a quick screen flashes which you can't read, the status bar moves back to the left and does not install.  Any ideas please?  Thanks

Hey there guys, I am trying to uninstall the following software Photoshop Version and I would like to get the silent install switching. I have other apps that I am trying to install and I will ask what I have later. But for now I need the silent switch for the follow Photoshop versions:

 

Using PowerShell App ToolKit To Complete This Task

 

Photoshop CC 2015 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe --appletID="DWA_UI" --appletVersion="2.0" --mode="Uninstall" --mediaSignature="{793C2BF7-A4FE-4608-91C9-9282C5801C21}"

When I run the above string its asking me to pick what I want to install, I wanted the silent switch so there is no user interaction. I am sure there is a switch that I am missing in the string.

Assuming I have everything I need to install, I want to make the auto install program.

Is it can be possible?

If I have to install 100 computers. I don't want to install them one by one.

That is stupid.

One of our users is trying to upgrade his After Effects cc from 2017 to 2018 version.  He has Windows 10 version 1803, 16Gb RAM, SSD drive with plenty of free space (Over 250GB), and he is getting the error message:

"you must upgrade/update your system to install after effects cc"

 

when trying to get the latest version of After Effect CC.  Is this not compatible with the newest Win 10 feature update or is there something I am missing?

Régularisation d'une licence Adobe

Bonjour,

 

Nous avons un pack de 14 licences Adobe Acrobat DC.

Sur le portal d'administration d'adobe, une installation d'une licence a été faite à travers un compte "utilisateur"

L'ajout de cet utilisatrice avec l'affectation de la licence Adobe Acrobat DC n'a pas été décompté de notre package des 14 licences mais à incrémenter notre pack des 14 licences à 15...

Nous nous comprenons pas cette situation, comment pouvons  régulariser cette licence afin qu'elle soit prise en compte à travers nos 14 licences dispo ?

Using the CC packager to install into a D drive

My school purchased an educational license subscription for a class I am teaching. This apparently can only be distributed and installed through Adobe's packaging software. Some of our computers have a limited C drive, and a much bigger D drive - where we want to install the program. After creating and distributing the license package to one of these machines, I click on the installer file, and watch as it slowly fills up the C drive to it's maximum capacity, then aborts installation due to insufficient space.

 

The installer offers no options when it opens, it is just a progress bar. There is no way to choose where to install these dozens of gigabytes worth of apps. The installation file is saved in the D drive, but insists on trying to install into C:. With the thousands of dollars we spent on the licences, please don't just tell me that it must install to the C drive. It's not an option on our machines. Thanks.

Failed install w/ CCP

Can't believe we are back to this. Dealing with the installation of Adobe products has proven to be one of the most annoying part of using the software. It's great after the install.

 

Deployment package created using CCP. Testing sees most of the products installed just to have the entire package un-installed.

 

Would it be to much to simply roll back then skip ONLY the failing app instead of removing the ENTIRE suite?!?!?!?

 

We have run the clean tool and it still fails to complete.

 

That being said... the clean tool simply doesn't seem to do what is use to do. Lingering files, folders, etc would be deleted on running it... that is not happening now. We found files and folders left by the uninstall process that were ignored by the tool.

I got the enterprise account ID and can not log in with this ID, I had trial ID with the same name so might be issue as it always say that I have the trial account

Does anyone remember the good old days when we could just install photoshop with an executable and run our volume license script within MDT when deploying computers?

 

Man those were the good old days. Now we have to deal with an admin console, or start creative cloud with an account, install the applications, then run the volume licensing script.

 

These days suck and make me glad that we can just use Snapseed to make our photos pop out a little bit better now.

 

Anyone wish we could go back?

Lightroom CC giving trial has ended warning, I have an enterprise account

I hope you can help, I've spent several hours on this.

 

I have an enterprise account through the university I work at.

 

I'm running High Sierra on a Macbook Pro.

 

I recently updated my Lightroom CC and it's now saying "Action required: Your trial has ended. Subscribe"

 

When I click subscribe I am taken to a generic Lightroom promotional page as though I am a new customer.

 

I have worked my way through these solutions: Stop Adobe Creative Cloud from opening in trial mode after purchase except I was unable to amend my host file as it is locked.

 

Starting to wonder if I have two accounts? Attaching a screengrab of my account info.
