I am curious to know if there is a way to silently configure the default scratch location for Adobe Premiere (to set to C:\Scratch or something for all users) without the need of launching the application.
The problem we are having (we are in an academic institution) is that we have restrictive student accounts that have all their profile information on UNC shares with various permission levels. When they launch Premiere, the application stops responding at flash (unable to load xxx and so on). This does not occur with any other login (or our test student login that does not map to UNC shares). My hypothesis is that it is attempting to create the scratch location at .\appdata\...... and is not able to write to it.
